Bulls Win Streak Ends at 3

The Windy City Bulls had their three game winning come to an end with a loss to the Long Island Nets on Friday night 113-99 at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates.

This was the Bulls third straight loss at home after winning their home opener on November 2nd. The Bulls were led by Rawle Alkins who scored a game-high 29 points and had a career-high eight rebounds, two steals and two assists. Alkins scored 22 of his 29 points in the 4th quarter. CJ Fair contributed 13 points, six rebounds and two assists, while Mychal Mulder tallied 11 points and four rebounds. However that wasn’t enough to help the Bulls after they had trouble shooting from beyond the arc going 6-29 on the night.

The Nets bounce back after suffering their first loss of the season Tuesday night against the Westchester Knicks 93-90. The Nets had two assignment players Friday night, Dzanan Musa and Rodions Kurucs. Reserve player Mitchell Creek scored a career-high 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds and two assists. Jordan McLaughlin tallied 17 points and four assists while coming off the bench. Musa had 16 points while pulling in 6 rebounds and finding his teammates for 3 assists. Kurucs contributed 13 points , 4 rebounds and 3 assists. The Nets move to a record of 5-1 keeping their lead in the eastern conference. The Nets next game is later tonight against the Grand Rapids Drive.

The Bulls fall to a record of 4-6 heading into this Sunday’s game against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants at 2pm at the Sears Centre arena in Hoffman Estates.
